In a nutshell, I’m a 20-something Italian living in desolate Rio Rancho, N.M. I married my best friend in September of 2008 and couldn’t have asked for a better life, we make a great team. We have two awesome dogs, Kramer and Newman, and they’re pretty much the center of attention in our house. Oh…and I’m also mildly obsessed with cookbooks.

About Per l’Amore del Cibo:
I love food. I love eating it, cooking it and talking about it. So, I figured, what better way to talk food than to start a blog? I created this blog as a way to chronicle all the great (and not so great) meals that come out of our kitchen. I’m recreating some of my family’s classic dishes and creating some of my own. In the process, I have met a lot of other great food bloggers and have discovered what being a foodie is all about.

I have no culinary training, but I’d like to think that all the years of observing my family and experimenting in the kitchen count as some experience. All content on this blog is original, unless otherwise stated, and all photographs are taken by me (minutes before we devour the food on the plate).
